LIke, i'd like to see Amanda and John's relationship evolve and morph into the fucked up codependency it became, a deep dive into the psyche of a mentally ill person (i hc her as having BPD, i've heard this headcanon on a Youtube comment and it fits so well i made it my own, thank you random stranger :D). But if my suspects are true, we won't be getting none of that. 'cause people want gore (i'll admit, a Saw without traos would be weird for us too), who cared about the lore? Using this to rant and ramble. Southerner who's tired of people being weird about my accent and where I'm from + cool shit about Louisiana.

Genuinely, oh my lord. The Southerners being Stupid stereotype is literally because we are POOR!! There are so many people of color down here, and when segregation acts were removed the government just didn't fund our schools for shit.

My old middle school was built in the '60s and the air conditioner was only changed in 2015. Because it gets hot as HELL down here and they couldn't afford it 'til then.

My state is quite literally ranked last in education and one of the highest in STDs. Never got a Sex Ed. class, graduating this coming up year. They don't care about us, we just pump money n resources into the economy and eat up the lies politicians tell us about change and betterment.

Cajun immigrants were beat in schools for speaking Cajun French, and our language is dying.

It all leads back to classism, racism, and misogyny. Southern women are not comic relief, or tradwives, or none of that crazy shit yanks try to box all of us up in with a pretty little bow. Southern men are not toothless rednecks with guns that hate queers, and they ain't comedy relief either.

Obviously there's bad people down here. There's bad people up there too. Glass houses y'all. I have so, so much I can rant about here cause I hate it so much. Can't go into an online game with my mic on without comments on my accent, alabama jokes, or weird shit like "Say 'oil'" "Say 'orange'", because they think we sound stupid, and it's entertaining.

I've lived in the Deep South just about my whole life. There's so much to love down here- from the food, to the holidays like Mardi Gras, to the awesome areas you find all over. We aren't just dumb hicks, we have an awesome history. I live right next to a bayou pirates used to hide shit at!! Louisiana is the magic center of the States!! We got unique ecosystems, and customs, and our own fuckin language my generation is trying to revive. We got great food, sweet tea that genuinely puts every other state to shame- like, I lived in Detroit for a little while, and their sweet tea tastes unsweetened to me.

We aren't just dumb hicks, we got fucked over by classism. We have awesome food and culture and stories. We have our own way of saying things. Old church ladies saying they'll "pray for you", speaking fast and under-enunciating, mixing cajun french into sentences casually- mostly things we heard from elders as kids as terms of endearment or teases. It's nice, it's comfort, it's home. 🫶🏻

Since Day 1 Love and Deepspace has always been for women and or afabs to explore their sexualities in a world where women/afabs seeking out anything sexual(or even romantic)whether it be in fiction or irl is seen as taboo, dirty/filthy/unclean, and or shameful. Especially within parts of Asia.

Men are allowed to get straight up hentai tattoos and no one says anything but whenever women/afabs have crushes on/simp for/selfship with fictional characters and or consumes nsfw content of them then we’ve “gone too far” or, “are so delusional/cringe” and get told that we’re mentally ill as an insult and that we should “go to therapy/get help” because of our “parasocial relationships with fictional characters”(and over a period tracking feature within the game out of all things..)

It’s important now more than ever to have more media like this to be created as to lessen the stigma around female sexuality. ESPECIALLY with everything that’s going on in the US right now. Shaming women and or shaming other female/afab fans for enjoying this stuff only contributes more to the problem. You’re not inherently better than anyone for not being into the type of things others may like.

And it all comes back to this ridiculous double standard people have for Sans and Papyrus where they assert Sans' Sentry work is paid (even though Undyne admits he does only just enough to not be fired), but Papyrus' isn't. Sans is a Darkner but Papyrus Isn't. Sans is secretly a Human but Papyrus Isn't. Sans is a Boss Monster (like Asgore and Toriel) but Papyrus Isn't. HELL SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE SANS IS IN THE ROYAL GUARD AND PAPYRUS ISN'T AND THAT'S HOW THEY JUSTIFY THINKING SANS IS PAID AND PAPYRUS IS NOT.

Anyways this post was incited by me checking the new wiki and seeing that not a single thing that bothered me about Papyrus' page from the old one has been edited. And the last time I checked it was August 30th 2021. Here's the post I made then, with screenshots I took on March 29th 2020. Yeah. The exact same biased writing for over 5 years. Maybe longer. I don't know when they were originally written.

accepting trans and transphobic people into the same space is ignorance, regardless of how you spin it. you cannot have both. you CANT. there is no fence-sitting in bigotry: you defend the marginalised, you pretend you don't understand what your friends are saying when they make derogatory remarks, or you actively indulge in bigotry yourself.

sure, skizz isn't a transphobe. but he's a bystander to it. it doesn't affect him and so he has that choice to associate himself with bigoted people without any consequences. that's something to keep in mind when looking at his responses to this.
